Corneliss Janse van der Poel

Corneliss Janse VanDerPoel was born in 1512 in the Netherlands. His father, Jan Van Der Poel, was 35 and his mother, Elizabeth D'Abconde, was 33 at the time of his birth. He fathered at least two sons with Maria Schrijver. Corneliss passed away in 1587 in his hometown at the age of 75. Vanderpoel Surname Meaning Dutch (Van der Poel): topographic name for someone who lived near a muddy pool Middle Dutch poele or a habitational name for someone from any of the many places in the Netherlands named with this word.
