A Bailey Baker served in Company A, Crawford's Arkansas Cavalry and his widow applied for a pension in 1906 in Columbia County, AR. He died on 15 October 1895. According to Milford L. BAKER, Bailey served in the state legislature as a State
Senator in 1875.

HIST: Marcile BROWN suggests he may have been born in 1819. According to the 1860 cenus, this is true. On his marriage record, however, he indicates he is 25 in 1846 which suggests he was born in 1820 or 1821
