Burgess Albright & his Ancesters & Decendents in America 1927-1977 Including: Clapps Snoderlys & related Families by Mona Belle Turpin ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The following information is from the above source(1): Got name of 'John Foust' as spouse of Anna Barbara Albright, year of death and county and state of death. We have only sketchy knowledge of the Albright's while they were still in Pennsylvania and before they went to North Carolina. We know that they were still in Pennsylvania in 1759. On the tax list for Bern Township, Berks County Pennsylvania for that year we find the names of Jacob Albright, #6; Ludwig Albright, #1; Christian Albright, #7; and John Foust, #10. These were the three sons of Johannes and Anna Barbara Albright, and their son-in-law, husband of Anna Barbara (Albright) Foust. Abstracts from a deed recorded in Deed Book A-3, 27 (Berks County, Pennsylvania), dated December 1752 transfering property to a son-in-law of Johannes: "Barbara Albracht ... widow of John Albright, deceased, together with Christian Albracht, yeoman, Jacob Albracht, wheelwright, Lodowich Albracht, wheelwright, they being the three sons of John Albracht... the mother, sons and daughters, constituting the parties of the first part in transfer to John Foust, intermarried with Barbara, the other daughter of John Albracht, the 100 acres of land....."++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Will of John Foust Will Book B, page 79 - Orange County, North Carolina 1786 C.R.073.801.1-17 In the Name of god Amen, I, John Foust, of Orange County in the State of North Carolina being weak of body but of perfect Mind and Memory blessed be god ~ But knowing the Mortality of My body and that it is appointed for all men once to die I Make and ordain this my last will and Testament in the following manner ~ And as to such worldly Estate as it has pleased The Lord to bless me with I bequeath give and devise in Manner following. First I allow my funeral Charges and Just Debts to be first paid out of my Estate~ I Ordain and Constitute My two Sons George and Peter Foust my whole and Sole Executors of this my last will and Testament. I give to my son Phillip Foust five Shillings ~ I give to my son John Foust five Shillings ~ I give to my son Jacob Foust five Shillings ~ I give to my son Christian Foust five Shillings ~ I give to my son George Foust five Shillings ~ I give to my Daughter Barbarah Clap five Shillings ~ I give to my Daughter Judith Clap five Shillings ~ I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Barbarah Foust a featherbed bedstead & furniture and My Wallnut Chest and all her wearing cloths and to have her living and Maintenance on the Plantation that I now Live on ~ During the time she remains my widow with full Priviledge of the Store[?] room orchards [etc?] And at her decease the feather bed Bedstead and furniture and walnut Chest is to be Equally Divided Between my three youngest sons George Peter & Daniel Foust but her wearing Cloaths she may Dispose of to her own mind. I give to My two youngest sons Peter and Daniel Foust all the land that I now live on, Peter is to have the half of the old Tract to be taken off the East end and Daniel to have the improvement and part that I now live on and they the said Peter and Daniel shall Divide the New Survey Equaly to their own liking Provided They Pay to my son Jacob Foust Each of them Ten Pounds Item I give to my two sons Peter and Daniel Foust My Smith Tools to be Equaly Divided between them ~ And all the Remaining Part of my Perishable Estate Is to be Equaly Divided between my three sons Viz George Peter and Daniel Foust ~ I give to my Son George Foust my Large bible In witness and testimony whereof I John Foust have hereunto Set my hand and affixed My Seal this twelft
