Hello, it's me — 3 Comments

  1. Sounds like fun, with the exception of your migraine of course (Sorry to hear you still suffer from those). I imagine if I were ever to make it back to the city I love best, I might be disappointed too. It is a pity and yet all is flux. All moments in time are unique. Let me know if you hear of any similar events happening in LA… Time flies madly hear and I'm afraid I am out of touch with the magical community. That 19th century esoteric occult orders and secret societies would've been right up my dark and mysterious alley! Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,

    Lance

  2. Lance, the city has changed so much since you left, in many ways it is barely recognizable as the same place. Most recently, the Times related the “rumor” that Elliot Bay Books was looking at moving out of Pioneer Square (Shorey's left years ago, I don't know if they are even still in business.) I have no idea how much is left of the Underground City with all of the redevelopment that has taken place. Even Ballard is unrecognizable with all of the condos that have gone in there.

  3. Surely, they COULDN'T eliminate the Underground?!!! It's an Historic District, isn't it?

BTW (Not related to this post) Looks like “The Nostradamus Effect: Hitler's Blood Oath” plays again at 1:00 PM on the History Channel, Saturday, October 24

It's all MOS (Mit Out Sound) so I tell friends to watch if you're interested and/or just for giggles. Keep your eyes peeled for “Hoodwinked Too: Hood vs Evil” in theatres in January…. Not a large role, but actual dialogue.

    Cheers,

    Lance
