Alison Campaign Log #5

(There may be some non-sequential dates between this and the previous log; not all of my notes were saved, and I missed a couple of play sessions.)

Shearing Moon 8-9 (evening)

We meet with Durn.

The session was spent at Durn’s home, and lasted several days. While much of interest was learned, most of it was private to the characters. Ali had more dreams and learned some family history from Livinia.

Shearing Moon 25 — Harvest Moon 10
Bri’s birthday

Durn calls the party for dinner, there is a ship selling the next morning, we agree we will be on it.

HM 14 –Onboard the ship: “Davic attempts to rape Cynthia.” (Cynthia attempted to seduce Davic, and failed in the extreme. He began insulting her, she began screaming incoherently and attempted to leave his room. She is heard by Bri and Ali, Ali assumes the worst and does her best to bitch smack Davic. Davic explains to Bri, Durn arrives to take charge of Cynthia. Ali takes Cynthia’s clothing to her.) Ali does not apologise to Davic.

Six days of sea travel. Ali and Brenna spend the majority of it below decks and amidships, although at one point Ali notices Marya using an astrolabe and asks about it. she explains that it helps her know what direction she is going at sea; Ali points north, and says “that’s north, why do you need that thing? Doesn’t everyone know that?”

HM 16 -we seem to be slowing in approach to shore. As we begin to disembark, Ali balks and can’t cross the gangplank. Brenna goes to help her. A buxom young woman rushes Bri screaming “Deuce! You came back to me!”
