After many years of having a blog on Blogger, Google decided to kill that service, and I decided to split it into a couple of different pieces.

One, my gaming blog, has been hosted here at LookingBackwards for several years (ever since Microsoft killed off Live Spaces), and it is still in the process of actually getting all of my gaming notes and such updated and posted (and backdated to when those thing were actually current.

The other, my more personal blog, I placed on WordPress.com, and have been mostly content to leave it there, as the service is free. But with things such as free, you often get what you pay for, and I’ve been thinking that I wanted to update the look, add a few plug-ins and change some stuff around on it, which I can’t easily do on the free service. As I’m not willing to pay out more money that I already do for online services, I’m moving it here.

I’ll shortly be importing the old content and media,checking to make ure that nothing is seriously broken, and then placing a redirect statement on the old site to the new one.
