GM: Adam Griffith
Setting: Dragonquest, with Bjoerns mods, slightly adapted by Adam
Year: As of 15 April 2018, we are beginning play in Adam’s DQ world of Kalet.

From his write-up of the setting:

Overview of Setting
About 700 years ago the city of Kalet became unmoored from its previous reality and spent the next half millennium floating around limbo. There is no doubt that this was the work of wizards, but as to why it happened exactly opinions differ. Some say it was to escape a war, others claim it was the result of an experiment gone awry, while still others whisper of dark forces not completely understood.

Whatever the reason, the city, along with a sizable chunk of the surrounding countryside, spent 500 years floating though a featureless fog. At the end of this period, an adventurer by the name of Morgan Brightknife located an ancient symbol in a collapsed cellar, and either through cunning or random luck marred it in such a way that the city once again entered into the material world. Or rather, a material world…

When Kalet came out of limbo, it landed in the middle of a bay. Luckily for the inhabitants of the city Kalet had taken with it a 2-mile thick slab of bedrock underneath. Today, 1 miles of this stone is beneath the ocean waves, so that Kalet now occupies a circular island 15 miles across and a mile high.

When Kalet left its original place, it took with it members of 4 races; Elves, Goblins and Centaurs. The Elves found that they could not long survive cut off from nature, and all that remains of their one proud race are the half-elves descended from them.1

Our usual suspects will be Katrina, playing  a Dwarven Air Mage; Ashleigh, playing Misha Bex, a Half-Elf/Goblin who is possibly a Shadow Weaver or maybe a Mystic; Jorgen – playing Darmok, a Goblin Shaman; Suart – playing a “native hman” Mind Sorceror; and Bjoern, playing a Centaur White Mage.

I recognize that face!
